When NOT in Rome…call Sergio :) (he will take you) Sergio was super friendly and professional. He drove safely and his English was very good! We drove to Sorento and Amalfi coast which were both beautiful. On the way he brought us to visit the local limoncello factory and on the way back we went to Sal de Riso for delicious desserts! On another trip he drove us all the way from Castellammare di Stabia to Rome. If we are ever back we will definitely call him again.

Perfect Day in Amalfi Coast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The views were amazing. Our favorite town we saw was definitely Positano. It has beautiful views, great food and tons of shopping!! Sergio got us the best table with a view at a wonderful local restaurant. Five stars!

Grandson tries Pasta for the first time!! Great trip!! Sergio took us to see most all of the coastline before the Amalfi coast and beyond. He recommended a wonderful authentic Napoloton Restaurant in the Pompeii area to enjoy lunch where my 5 year old grandson tried spaghetti for the first time before we visited the Pompeii Ruins. He gave us a lot of information about the areas we went through on our trip. I would definitely recommend not only this excursion but Sergio as well. The people drive crazy here but he made us feel very safe. Thank you Sergio

Gorgeous day along the coast! We arrived in Naples on Good Friday and were going to buy ferry tickets to the Sorrento and Amalfi coasts but Giovanni at the info desk at the train station suggested that a private minivan tour would work out to be the same price as there were 6 of us. Super thankful we took this tour instead!!! It was €100 per person and our driver/guide Sergio took us and hit the road at 9am. We were scheduled to come back to the Naples train station at 5ish pm but he extended the time (for a good lunch at his suggestion) till about 6.30pm instead for no additional cost! And not only that, he dropped us off at a restaurant we were wanted to go to instead of the station. We were able to learn a lot about local life and culture from him during the drive so that was wonderful too. And of course, the coastal scenery was just gorgeous!

Perfect Way to See Amalfi, Ravello, and Pompeii in a Day! Our driver Sergio was wonderful! He picked us up from the port right on time and ensured we got everywhere safely and timely. He provided interesting facts on Italy and the places we were seeing during our drive. He carefully planned out the order of the stops to ensure we maximized our time while also making sure we got back to our cruise ship in time. Just before our Pompeii stop we were running a little ahead of the schedule so he made an unplanned stop at a beautiful cathedral that he thought we would want to visit. It was a nice surprise. This was the first time I had booked a tour outside of the cruise ship so I was a bit hesitant at first but Sergio made this experience so great that I would do it again with no concerns. We were a group of 8 and all had a great time. I highly recommend visiting Via Rufolo while in Ravello for some beautiful breathtaking views!

Sergio is Fantastico! Sergio is the best! He picked us up at Rome airport and whisked us to Pompeii for a pizza lunch and tour of the ruins and then on to our apartment in Amalfi. 2 days later I celebrated my birthday with a day-long driving tour of the Amalfi Coast with Sergio! I loved all the personal touches from singing Happy Birthday in the van to a lunch reservation in Ravello - our best meal on the Coast! Thank you Sergio for your patience, flexibility, and KNOWLEDGE of the Amalfi Coast!! Highly recommend!

He makes so many wonderful suggestions - including arranging beautiful meals for us along the way. A genuinely nice guy who wants to make sure you enjoy your visit. If he is available - hire him!

Sergio does it AGAIN! Following our trip from Rome to Positano, we spent several days in Positano, Capri and finally a chill day in Praiano. Praiano is another vertical town but much quieter than Positano. We kept in touch with Sergio and he agreed to take us from Praiano to Naples so we could take a train to Rome. Once again, he showed up on time and found our AirBNB which was way up the mountain and remote. His price was VERY REASONABLE. I know this because we were quoted 300 euro to take us a few miles to Amalfi for a few hours, and his price to take us much farther to Naples was lower! Once again Sergio came through and got us to our train with time to spare. If you are thinking about driving the Amalfi coast, it is a challenge and parking is definitely an issue. Going with Sergio is a pleasant, hassle free and enjoyable experience!

Sergio is GREAT! When we planned our Trip to Rome and the Amalfi Coast, getting from Rome to Positano became a concern. After much research we decided to hire a private transfer from Rome airport to Positano. It may seem more expensive at first than renting a car or taking a high speed train, in the end taking a private transfer was a great value. The best part was we had Sergio behind the wheel!

When we landed in Rome we got through baggage and customs fast and we were looking at a 2 hour wait before Sergio’s scheduled arrival. I took a chance and called his cell. Bottom line is he came right away and got there an hour early to greet us. From there we hopped in his Mercedes van and we were off and running. Sergio is very accommodating, and exceedingly friendly man who also is very knowledgeable, especially when it comes to the Amalfi Coast and his home city of Naples!

When we talked about getting some lunch he immediately called and booked us a wine tasting/ tour lunch at the Cantina Del Vesuvio winery. After that he took us to a tour of Herculaneum which we booked in advance with him, and then he drove us straight away to Positano. He is an excellent driver, and we all appreciated his skill navigating the twists and turns getting to Positano. When we got close to our AirBNB he called the owner to get a specific location so we were as close as possible to the house. Positano is a “vertical town” with a billion stairs so that little effort by Sergio was very appreciated. We will hopefully use Sergio again when we travel from Praiano to Naples.

Amazing tour that was beyond our expectations! We chose Amalfi Daily Tour as our Private Tour Guide based on the reviews we read. Wow, we were not sorry! We had a few questions before our tour and Sergio was very friendly and let us know how we would find him, etc. We were on a cruise and were worried about not taking a cruise-certified excursion for our stop in Naples, but Sergio promised he would have us back to the ship on time (which he did). For our tour, he brought us from Naples down to Ravello, then drove along the Amalfi Coast, and then took us up to Pompeii. In our earlier emails I mentioned we were worried that we'd be waiting in line to go through Pompeii, and he offered us a private tour guide (who happened to be an archeologist) to bring us through and skip the line.

He pointed out different cultural things along the way. We had a few stops for breathtaking views, which were amazing! He mentioned we might want to try Meloncello (as well as Limoncello) and so we did in Ravello. I had no idea Meloncello existed and am going to find a way to have some shipped to me here in the states! He suggested a wonderful place for a quick coffee and snack and left us on our own to do that, always appearing right when we were ready to go. We drove along the Amalfi Coast which was absolutely beautiful! Every corner we turned we were awarded with gorgeous views! Somewhere along the way he brought us to a sweets shop with little pastries and purchased a sampling plate of them for us to share. Unexpected and wonderful!

Once we arrived in Pompeii he suggested 'Hortus Pompeii, Restaurant & Garden Bar' as a place for lunch while we waited for our private tour guide. Lunch was delicious - the bruschetta was amazing! Our tour guide arrived and took us through Pompeii telling us things we certainly would have missed had we gone it alone. She was truly knowledgeable and patient, answering any questions we had.

In the end, we felt very lucky to have had Sergio as our Private Tour Guide. He was personable, knowledgeable, and fun to hang around with! Out of all the excursions we had on our cruise, this was by far my very favorite. Well worth every single penny (or euro!) and I will highly recommend him to anyone that asks.

Safe Tour with Commentary on Board by Sergio Sergio picked us up in Sorrento in Piazza Tasso, we traveled along the Amalfi coast and stopped to admire the landscape in front of the Galli island, Sergio told us that it is a private island. we stopped in Amalfi for lunch and a walk, then we went to Ravello where we visited two ancient villas, return to Sorrento, and was on a safe tour with commentary on board by Sergio excellent English thanks Sergio for the wonderful day

Wonderful Experience ! From beginning to end this tour was fantastic! Sergio the we prompt, responsive and helped us to coordinate a wonderful tour. He was knowledgeable and took the time to walk with us in some areas. We got to see Amalfi, Ravelo, and Pompei. The drive was scenic and beautiful as he spoke to us about different areas along the way, and the boat tour was also a great add on that gave us a view of Amalfi from a different perspective. He recommended a great restaurant that was a great end to our day. Overall, this tour was worth every penny and we will definitely contact Sergio again when we come back to Naples.
